Green Tea Extract in Glycerin

Green tea extract is obtained from the Camellia sinensis plant's evergreen leaves, grown in various regions. The extraction requires harvesting undeveloped leaves, steaming them to avoid fermentation, and pressing and drying them. The resultant extract consists of 5% of the valuable components present in green tea, dissolved in a 50/50 blend of water and glycerin.
